What is the reason for this notice?

Our records indicate that a PRODUCT UPDATE has not been completed on this vehicle; refer
to the address card for the affected VIN. The vehicle’s battery sensor monitors the battery
condition and determines the charging mode. In some cases, because of the battery condition
and your driving habits, the PCM may not select the correct charge mode resulting in a battery
with a low state of charge. If the battery has a low state of charge, the engine may not start.

What should you do?
Please contact any authorized Honda dealer to schedule a service appointment. The dealer will
update the vehicle’s software. This work will be done free of charge.

~Cual es el motivo de ésta notificacién?

Nuestros registros indican que no se ha completado una ACTUALIZACION DE PRODUCTO en
este vehiculo; consulte la tarjeta de direccion para ver el VIN afectado. El sensor de la bateria
del vehiculo monitorea la condicion de la bateria y determina el modo de carga. En algunos
casos, debido la condicion de la bateria y sus habitos de manejo, el PCM puede que no
seleccione el modo de carga correcto lo cual resulta en una bateria con un estado de carga
bajo. Si la bateria tiene un estado de carga bajo, el motor puede que no arranque.

Qué debe hacer?

Por favor comuniquese con cualquier concesionario autorizado Honda para programar una cita
de servicio. El concesionario actualizara el programa del vehiculo. Este trabajo se realizara sin
costo alguno.
