Do you have an Odyssey in your shop that has a power sliding door that won?t open or close by using the following? ? Power sliding door main switch on the dash ? Keyless transmitter ? B-pillar switch (if equipped) ? Either inside or outside door handle Connect the HDS to the vehicle. Using the information from the power sliding door data list, follow the steps in the flowchart below to troubleshoot the problem.

Do you have an Odyssey in your shop that has a power sliding door that won’t open or close by using the following?
• Power sliding door main switch on the dash
• Keyless transmitter
• B-pillar switch (if equipped)
• Either inside or outside door handle
Connect the HDS to the vehicle. Using the information from the power sliding door data list, follow the steps in the
flowchart below to troubleshoot the problem.

Input Comparison Troubleshooting
Use this flowchart for power sliding doors that won’t open automatically on ONE side of the vehicle
Start
Turn OFF the main switch, and unlock all doors
Close both sliding doors
With both doors closed, compare the following inputs between the good door and the faulty door:
Remote Control Switch 1, Remote control switch 2, Remote control switch 3
Full latch switch, Half-latch switch, Ratchet switch
Note: If the problem affects the left side door, also check the fuel door interlock
Do all
inputs match for
both sides?

Troubleshoot the switch circuit on
the faulty door that does NOT
match the good door
YES
Open both sliding doors
With both doors open, compare the following inputs between the good door and the
faulty door:
Full latch switch, Half-latch switch, Ratchet switch

Open and close the faulty sliding door while observing the base switch input
that displays on HDS data list.
