A new version of Body Repair Policy Letter BPL-30-1455V5 has been issued. Updates to this document have a black line
against them in the left side margin. Please destroy all previous copies of BPL-30-1455V5 and replace them with this Body
Repair Policy Letter BPL-30-1455V6.
Dear Colleagues,
Due to the ongoing restrictions caused by the corona virus epidemic we have taken the decision to convert part of the
DBX Structural Repair course, except for UK training, (referred to in bulletin BPL-30-1422) to virtual on-line training.
Please pass this information on to your affiliated Body Repair Shop to make sure they remain Category A compliant.
The original course was a 5-day workshop and classroom-based course due to be held at EMTEC in the UK. We are now
in the process of converting the course to a 3-day virtual course and a 2-day workshop-based course, the later to be held
once restrictions are eased and travel is allowed.
Due to a slow uptake for the original scheduled courses in May we have had to cancel two of the three originally planned
European virtual courses. I am however pleased to say that we have been able to agree a revised date for a second course
and schedule it for European Body repairers.
The newly added, revised 3-day virtual course dedicated to European body shops will commence on June 21st and you
should now make every attempt to book onto this, the link required for booking is shown below.
Accreditation for the training course will only be granted once the practical sessions have been completed. However, it is
felt that we need to offer some training and repair literature to be delivered virtually to support vehicles already delivered
to regions.
Course prices remain unchanged at £3500.00 per technician. This will be invoiced on a pro rata basis. Therefore the 3day virtual sessions will be £2,100.00 per technician.
Bodyshop Solutions Ltd have been in contact with most Cat A repairers to commence distribution of the special tools
referred to in the previous bulletin BPL-30-1422. I am pleased to say we have had a favourable response from these body
shops and the equipment is being distributed worldwide.
Note: Please make sure your affiliated body shop is made aware of the revised training available, so they can book
onto the course in order to remain Cat A compliant.
