DESCRIPTION
Hi-Rise Sleepers equipped with a film antenna 4136172C1 and SiriusXM satellite radio may experience poor reception in the northern regions
of North America. The reception may be worst when traveling north or east. The trailer can cause a shadowing affect, blocking proper
reception for the antenna. Using a stand-alone Satellite Digital Audio Radio Service (SDARS) antenna can improve satellite radio reception.

REPAIR STEP(S)
Install a puck style antenna in the hi-rise sleeper for satellite radio reception. The film antenna will remain for all other functions except
satellite radio.
PROCEDURE:
1. Follow 0000885380 - 2017-2020 International
LT / RH and LoneStar Technician Manual (Service and Diagnostic) to remove headliner
to gain access to the film antenna and connectors.
2. Unplug the yellow "curry" colored connector from the film antenna. This is the antenna for the satellite radio.
3. Plug the puck style antenna into the antenna cable.
4. Using industrial strength two-sided tape or Velcro, adhere the puck style antenna to the roof. Refer to Figure 3 and Figure 4.
◦ Place the puck style antenna on the right (passenger) side of the vehicle, as far forward as you can without pulling on the harness
cable. Verify the headliner can be re-installed without interference at that location.
5. Re-install the headliner
