DESCRIPTION
New Vehicles:
As of July 9th, 2020 all predictive cruise control function (PPC) was moved to the N2 module. For vehicle with an X15 engine
the module requires being pinged once in service to enable the PPC function in the module for the first operation. In some
cases, the vehicle may not have had enough time in service (with good cell coverage) to send and receive this message. This
process is performed over multiple key cycles and days. This can result in fault codes 6575 and 6753 being logged in the ECM.
These faults will not have any effect on the vehicle operation other than the loose of PCC functionality. There are no driver
notification and they will not display in the health reports. The faults are only visible in the Cummins Insite tool.
Module Replacement:
When a C4 or older PN N2 module is replaced the module SN (serial number) should be recorded and a case file should be
created to allow the Navistar OCC team to link the SN to the VIN in our systems to allow for updates to download automatically.

SPN: 7936 FMI: 9 (Cummins 6753)

Loss of comm with route parameter manager module

Customer Observations or Concerns:
There are no driver notifications, lights, or impact on performance with the expectation of the loose of PCC functionality. There
is no impact on standard cruise control operation.

the wheels to prevent the vehicle from moving in either direction. Failure to do so may
