IF YOU CONFIRM
The I-Key door handle request switch intermittently will not lock or unlock the doors.
and
The vehicle has painted door handles (see Figure 1, below).
and
Key fob has been function tested and signal strength is correct.
ACTION
Replace the door handles with the new door handles listed in Table A on page 2.


Refer to the Electronic Service Manual (ESM), section DLK Door & Lock, for
information about door handle replacement.

NOTE: This bulletin does not apply to vehicles with chrome door handles (see Figure 2).
