Step 1: Contact Mascot at 1-800-668-5560. They will support confirming your part number, placing your initial order, and scheduling your
delivery needs.
Stock Orders
Step 2 (No longer necessary): The dealer NO LONGER must place a confirming order using the same PO number in (DCS).
Step 2: The Mascot Truck Parts program will be handled Direct Ship only. All orders should be placed as “Stock”. Order tracking, delivery
scheduling and expediting should be handled direct with Mascot at 1-800-668-5560.

There is no minimum order requirement on emergency or stock orders.
Freight Policy:
Shipments within the Continental
United States are Free Freight for all orders of transmissions and differentials and orders over the MOQ.
All orders are shipped from the most local Mascot PDC unless otherwise specified. All orders will be shipped via the most efficient method.
Free Freight Policy:
Freight will be prepaid on all Transmissions and Differentials. $1,000 minimum order for prepaid freight on all other Mascot products.
Orders not meeting the $1000 order minimum will be assessed freight at the amount charged by the carrier

Order Fulfillment Policy:
The standard order processing time is 3 business days from date of order placement.
Part Number Pricing:
Pricing will be available on-line in the Hino DCS system. In addition, the prices will be forwarded to your service bureaus within two weeks
of each pricing update.
Format:
Standard Part numbers are directly carried over; no prefix or suffix.
Mega Fleet:
All-Makes parts are not included in the Hino Mega Fleet pricing file but should be sold to Mega Fleet customers and filed as Miscellaneous
Items in Corcentric when submitting for reimbursement.
Warranty:
Please always view Suppliers warranty documents as warranty varies based on items/products/vehicle applications, etc... Contact vendor
directly for a RGA approval number. Warranty covers manufacturers defects only and does not cover damage (installation or progressive).
If the vendor provides a RGA number, contact Hino Trucks warranty department. Warranty claims are to be sent back through Hino
Trucks corporate.

MUST have prior approval and the Return Goods Authorization (RGA) marked on the outside of the box. View Mascots return/warranty

Mascot’s policy of “Visual” Core Inspection is designed to allow you and your staff the ability to make a determination about the value of
the core credit to be expected from Mascot. Core inspection requirements are further specified in Mascots supplemental core inspection
documentation below.

All merchandise should be inspected upon arrival and carrier
damage claims should be filed with the carrier
immediately. We are not
responsible for, nor are we in a position to make a claim after the freight carrier
accepts the shipment from us. For excess stock returns,

Conclusion:
Mascot transmissions (automatic and manual), differentials, steering gears and pumps go through a rigorous teardown, cleaning and
inspection process that looks at each individual part in the component and examines it for flaws, wear indicators and stress. All synchros,
bearings, seals, gaskets, hoses and valves are replaced. Every gear is carefully examined and if worn or damaged is replaced with a new
part. Then each unit is reassembled, bench tested and verified to exacting specifications in our remanufacturing facility. Because we don’t
want you “testing” parts on the road. We run quality checks on 100% of our remanufactured products. That’s why our process is ISO
9001:2008 certified, and it’s the reason all Mascot remanufactured parts come with an Unlimited-Mileage warranty for 1 to 3 Years that is
valid in the Continental
United States and Canada.

In addition to the basic overview above, to receive core credit from Mascot
Truck Parts, the following conditions must also be satisfied:
o Cores returned for credit must be like for like – the product being returned
must match the product sold except where upgrades are allowed.
o The input shaft must turn a minimum of three full turns without binding and
output shaft must move with the input shaft rotation.
o Input and output shaft serrations must be free of twists or cracks.
No core credit will be given for the following:
o Disassembled core
o Excessive corrosion and/or weld damage
o Frozen input/output shaft
o Impact damage as evidenced by inspecting the input and/or output shaft
Core Return
All Mascot transmission and differential cores can be returned to the Hino Core
Consolidation Center. Step by step instructions for returning non-warranty and
warranty cores are listed below:
Non-Warranty Dirty Cores
1) Drain dirty core of any liquid and/or oils.
2) Use skid shipped with your Mascot transmission or differential for dirty core return
and tie the transmission or carrier
to skid in the same manner as product was
shipped to you.
3) Ship Mascot dirty cores with your standard monthly core shipment to the Hino
Core Consolidation Center.
Warranty Dirty Cores
1) Contact Mascot at 1-800-668-5560 option 3 and receive a warranty authorization
number.
2) Detailed instructions will be provided regarding return to Mascot Truck Parts from
the Mascot Customer Service Representative providing the warranty authorization
number.

Warranty
All Mascot units include a one-year unlimited mile, limited warranty, parts and labor.
In the event of a failure within the warranty period of a Mascot unit, follow the steps
below to receive your warranty credit and reduce the chances of having the warranty
claim denied by Mascot.
1) Contact Mascot at 1-800-668-5560 option 3, prior to working on a Mascot
remanufactured unit that fails within the warranty period. If the unit is within
the warranty period, or you perceive there is a warranty reimbursement
due on the unit, Mascot must be called prior to working on the
warrantable unit.
a. Mascot will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. EST. Leave a
message after hours and your call will be returned the next day.
b. Obtain claim pre-approval and warranty authorization number.
2) Warranty coverage applies to the complete unit. No warranty will be paid
on piece parts unless approved and authorized by Mascot.
3) Disposition of units (return of warranty units to vendor) will be requested
during the warranty authorization process. All units requested to be
returned to Mascot will be issued a shipping call tag. Pick-up from a
Mascot authorized shipper will be scheduled.
