All orders are to be placed through the Hino Dealer Connect System (DCS). For special orders or for customer support contact Vendor
directly via phone number.

Minimum Order Quantity

Enter orders in DCS Screen DC202 under Sales Type “S”. All direct ship items will be shipped from a local Vendor PDC.
Emergency orders may be entered into DCS screen DC202 as a Sales Type “E” or "V". All emergency orders will be processed with a “rush”
order. Freight and Handling fees will be identified on the Hino invoice. Emergency orders will have a lead -time of 24 -48 hours depending on
product type.
There are no minimum order requirements on orders.

Direct Ship Freight Policy:

For all non-axle orders & orders less than 10 axles, shipments within the Continental United States are freight prepaid and added to the
invoice. All orders are shipped from 277 N. High Street, Hebron, OH 43025 unless otherwise specified. All orders will be shipped via the most
efficient method unless otherwise noted by customer.

Free Freight Policy (Direct
Ship):

All direct shipped orders to one location of 10+ axles will include freight prepaid by Hendrickson from Hebron, OH location.

Order Fulfillment Policy:

Lift axle standard leadtime is 2-3 weeks but varies depending on business conditions. Orders for replacement parts that are in-stock have a
standard 2-3 day leadtime unless noted critical which if placed before 2:00 PM EST will ship next-day. All lead-times are subject to material
availability and may change at any time. Hendrickson has a commitment to provide all parts when requested and focuses strongly for ontime delivery.

Part Number Pricing:

Hendrickson Aux Axle pricing is available on-line in the Hino DCS system.

Format:

Standard Part numbers are directly carried over; no prefix or suffix.

Mega Fleet:

All-Makes parts are not included in the Hino Mega Fleet pricing file but should be sold to Mega Fleet customers and filed as Miscellaneous
Items in Corcentric when submitting for reimbursement.

Warranty:

not cover damage (installation or progressive). If the vendor provides a RGA number, contact Hino Trucks warranty department. Warranty
claims are to be sent back through Hino Trucks corporate.

Returns:

Contact vendor directly to obtain a Return Goods Authorization code by phone number or email address listed above. All returned items
MUST have prior approval and the Return Goods Authorization (RGA) marked on the outside of the box. RGAs have an expiration date of
sixty (60) days; after sixty (60) days the return will become null and void. All returns are subject to a 25% or greater restocking fee. Will not
authorize any returns that are not properly packaged or in the original packaging. No credit will be issued for product that has been
damaged, altered, or installed on equipment. The customer is responsible for all freight charges on the returned merchandise. Special order
items or non stock items are not returnable.

Shipping Inspection and
Damaged Product:

All merchandise should be inspected upon arrival and carrier damage claims should be filed with the carrier immediately. Contact the Hino
PDC for any damaged product or shipping issues. For excess stock returns, contact the Vendor directly.

INTRODUCTION

PRE-INSTALLATION SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

The warnings and cautions should be read carefully to
help prevent personal injury and to assure that proper
methods are used. Improper maintenance, service or
repair may damage the vehicle, cause personal injury,
render the vehicle unsafe in operation, or void manufacturer’s warranty. Failure to follow the safety precautions in this manual can result in personal injury and/
or property damage. Carefully read and understand all
safety related information within this publication, on all
decals and all such materials provided by the vehicle
manufacturer before conducting any maintenance,
service or repair.
WARNING: ELECTRICAL ENERGY CAN CAUSE SEVERE PERSONAL INJURY OR DEATH.
DISCONNECT THE VEHICLE’S BATTERY BEFORE CONDUCTING WORK
ON ANY PART OF THE VEHICLE’S

The following instructions are intended for the installation of Hendrickson SPIF air kits on vehicles equipped
with Hendrickson auxiliary suspensions and primary
drive suspensions. Load equalization is one of the many
new requirements of the amended SPIF regulations.
Please refer to the Amended Ontario Regulation 413/05
for the complete list of requirements to meet the new
SPIF regulations.

Alteration of an air kit or other suspension components
is not permitted.
It is the responsibility of the installer to ensure proper
installation and calibration by verifying load proportioning. Any installation deviations must be approved, in
writing, by Hendrickson’s Product Engineering Department. Failure to comply with any of the above will void
the warranty.

STANDARD COMPONENTS

PRIMAAX/HAS primary suspensions – (1) pressure
protection valve and (1) quick release valve for a single
lift axle application.

BRAKE DEACTIVATION VALVE

A pilot valve used to allow auxiliary axle brakes (part #
R-001994) to normally apply when the suspension is in
the “DOWN” position. However, when the auxiliary axle
is in the “UP” position, the brakes are released to eliminate hang-ups during high centering and to conserve
system air pressure.

9. Apply a thread locking compound and torque the
jam nuts to 45-55 ft-lbs

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

1. Follow installation schematic for your air control.
2. Mount the control box in a location outside the
cab allowing the panel to open with access to the
push/pull knob; no inside function permitted
3. Support one of the drive axles with a jack to raise
one set of the tires on the driver’s side off the
ground
NOTE: The sensor must be installed on a non-lifting
axle with an ABS tone ring on the hub
4. Remove the wheels, brake drum, and brake shoes
from the supported axle end
5. Secure the Sensor Bracket to the axle with the
Clamp Band torquing the fastener to 9.0 +/- 1.5
ft-lbs

IMPORTANT! ORIENT SENSOR
SO THAT THE FLAT ON THE
END OF THE HOUSING IS IN
THE POSITION CLOSEST TO
THE AXLE. (SENSOR NOT
