Description
Sun shade / inner panel sun roof replace
DESCRIPTION:
If the roller blind on the panorama sunroof is hanging down and loose in the car, then follow advice
under Service.
Problem has been found mainly on newer cars before delivery. Investigations ongoing.
SERVICE:
Before repairs, check the roller blind to see if there are any abnormalities in the following areas as
shown in photos A, B and C:

A. Rollo tube pinching. There should be 6 separated pinchings in the tube, check each pinch that the
depth is good. If possible, measure the depth using a caliper.
B. Socket for rollo fixator. Check if any cracks or imperfections in the plastic.
C. Roller blind fixator. Check the wings to see if there are any cracks or imperfections in the plastic.
If any problems are found, please replace the roller blind according to VIDA method (search for VCC
ID: VCC-371003-6) and send a Vehicle Report with the findings including some photos.
If no abnormalities / damages could be found, repair the car by rolling back the roller blind to the correct
position.
