Summary
AR877-RPTA Ramp Relay Conversion-Affects only customer 2020 RPTA Spirit of Equess (SOE) buses 4146-4151.Complaint-24 volt feedback to IO module from ramp. Cause-Engineering failed to convert 24 volts to 12 volt signal to IO module. Correction-Install new relay harness, part # 2010205. Labor time is .6 per bus.

Safety practices should include but not be limited to properly supporting the chassis, axles, blocking tires, and a work area free of clutter.
Complaint: 24v Feedback to IO module from ramp
Cause : 24v Ramp system was not converted to 12v signal to IO.
Correction: Install Relay Harness

2010205‐HARNESS, 24V TO 12V CONVERSION RPTA
Repair Instruction
1: Remove black wire from green IO connector position # 4 ‐ In front electrical panel and cut off terminal.
2: Connect black wire in new harness to black wire removed in step 1 and splice these 2 wires together.
3: Install orange wire from new harness into green IO connector position # 4
4: Connect black wire with ring terminal onto ground bar.
5: Connect red wire in new harness onto existing circuit breaker ‐ see photo ‐ arrow.
6: Mount relays in space above ground bar ‐ see photo X‐ and secure wires properly in front electrical panel.
