COMMERCIAL TRUCK OF AMERICA IS PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE THE RELAESE OF OEM AND FLEET VALUE (FV) ELCTRICAL WIRE CONNECTORS AND SEPARATE TERMINAL WIRES FOR CERTAIN ISUZU N-SERIES AND F-SERIES TRUCKS. IN SOME INSTANCES, THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS AND TERMINAL WIRES LISTED IN THIS BULLETIN CAN BE A COST-EFFECTIVE REPAIR ALTERNATIVE TO REPLACING AN ENTIRE WIRING HARNESS, THEREBY REDUCING THE OPERATING EXPENSE FOR YOUR CUSTOMERS. PLEASE SEE THE CHARTS BELOW FOR DETAILS REGARDING THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS AND TERMINAL WIRES CURRENTLY AVAILABLE.

This bulletin supersedes bulletin IB19-N-001A. The purpose of this bulletin is to
improve illustrations, revise content, and update applicable model years. Please
discard bulletin IB19-N-001A.
INFORMATION
Isuzu Commercial Truck of America is pleased to announce the release of OEM and Fleet
Value (FV) electrical wire connectors and separate terminal wires for certain Isuzu N-Series
and F-Series Trucks. In some instances, the electrical connectors and terminal wires listed
in this bulletin can be a cost-effective repair alternative to replacing an entire wiring harness,
thereby reducing the operating expense for your customers. Please see the charts below for
details regarding the electrical connectors and terminal wires currently available.
OEM Connectors: OEM connectors are supplied with pre-installed wire terminals and
“pigtail” wire leads. (See Figure 1.) Although some OEM connectors have colored wire
insulation, the insulation may not match the colors of the vehicles’ wiring harness. The
terminal locations in the connector MUST be verified to ensure the correct wires are joined.
Refer to Chart 1 later in this bulletin for available OEM Connectors.

NOTE: Connectors with a part number beginning with the number “8” are OEM
connectors that come with installed terminals and “pigtail” wire leads. In order to
install these connectors you will need either to use additional Terminal Joint
Connectors, as listed in Chart 3, or to solder the wires together. These connectors are
approved for warranty repairs.
Fleet Value Connector Repair Kits: Fleet Value connector repair kits consist of empty
plastic connectors, terminals and wires. Fleet Value connector repair kits are supplied with
up to 10 pre-terminated wires that must be inserted into the connector. (See Figure 2.) The
pre-terminated wires also include pre-installed crimpless style Terminal Joint Connectors.
The color of the wire insulation may not match the original; however, the wire size, connector
and fitment will be correct. The terminal locations in the connector MUST be verified to ensure
the correct wires are joined. Refer to Chart 1 for available FV Connector Repair Kits.

NOTE: Connectors with a part number beginning with the number “2” are Fleet Value
(FV) connectors. Refer to the remarks section in Chart 1 below to determine how many
terminal wires come in the kit. FV connector repair kits are not approved for warranty
repairs.
Separate Terminal wires: Separate Terminal wires can be utilized for individual repairs
where terminals have been damaged. These wires come with an attached crimpless
connector, a seal, and a terminal. (See Figure 3.) Separate Terminal wires are available only
in packs of ten. Refer to Chart 2 for available wires.

The connectors identified in this bulletin are not for individual sensor wire repairs.
