This Pitstop provides information related to 2021MY~ Kia Telluride vehicles equipped with 7pin tow hitch harness (P/N: S9F67 AC500) either port or dealer installed. The Kia tow hitch
harness comes complete with an additional male 4-pin electronic brake control module
harness (P/N: S9F67 AC060) that is not installed at the port or dealer during the tow hitch and
harness installation. The 4-pin electric brake harness, caution card, and installation
instructions are placed into the vehicle’s glove box for the consumer if towing a trailer
equipped with an electronic braking system.

Confirm items have been installed in the glove box after tow hitch install prior to
customer sale.
If the dealer or customer is installing an electric brake control module, make sure it
conforms to your state’s regulations and that it is properly installed and operating
correctly.
When installing an electronic brake control module (refer to step 12 on the Tow hitch
Installation Sheet in the glove box with the 4-pin male E-Brake harness).
Refer to the applicable Installation Sheet, owner’s manual and KGIS for towing and
trailer requirements.
