Subject: New Online Technical Documentation Functions
Please note that the following new functions have been introduced in the latest update of the Online
Technical Documentation to make navigation and use of its content more intuitive and efficient.
1. Multifunction floating menu
A floating menu, which will always be visible, has been introduced on the right hand side of the
page (Fig.1) which can be used to access the various functions explained in more detail on the
following pages.
The menu functions vary according to the page you are on:
 Technical Documentation Homepage:
A. Search;
B. Quick language change.

A. Search
The search function performs a general search in the Technical Documentation by searching
for the keyword in the Spare Parts Catalog, the S.T. Schedule and the Workshop Manual for
a specific model or all models as shown below.
 To call up the function, simply click on button A (Fig.1), enter the search text and press
“Search”.
 If the function is used from the Technical Documentation Homepage, the search will be
extended to all models – Fig.3.
• The results found in the Documentation will be displayed in box 1, one model at a time.
Click on a specific result to navigate to the relevant section of the Spare Parts Catalog,
S.T. Schedule or Workshop Manual – Fig.3.
Example: when searching for the word “shock absorber”, the first model displayed is
the Monza SP2 with 37 results found in the Spare Parts Catalog, 3 in the S.T. Schedule
and 5 in the Workshop Manual. The results for the other models are displayed as you
scroll down the page – Fig.3.
• Box 2 shows the labels for all of the models that have produced a search result. By clicking
on one of the labels, you can immediately display the results for that specific model –
Fig.3.

 If the search function is used while in a specific model (F8 Tributo in the example below),
the search will only be performed in the Documentation for this model – Fig.4.

B. Quick language change
The quick language change function is used to quickly change the language that the Technical
Documentation is displayed in on any screen. You do not have to go back to the Homepage to
do this.
 To use this function, simply click on button B (Fig.1): select the desired language from the
dropdown menu. Once loaded, the Documentation will be displayed in the desired language
– Fig.5.

C. VIN and vehicle information search
The VIN Search function is a quick link from any page to the VIN Filter function introduced in
a previous update of the Technical Documentation (see Technical Information no. 2631)
which is used to display content that is only applicable to the specific VIN that has been
entered.
 To use the function, select a model and click on button C in the floating menu (Fig.2). Then
enter the specific VIN in the search field and press the “search” button – Fig.6

 Once you have entered the VIN, the main vehicle information is displayed. One of the new
features that the update offers includes the possibility of displaying the vehicle Options (3)
– Fig.7.
 Click on the indicated button to go to the Technical Documentation. The information on
the vehicle can referenced at any time by clicking on button C on the floating menu (Fig.2)
and will remain stored until you go back to the Technical Documentation Homepage –
Fig.7.

2. Consulting the Onboard Manuals
You can now consult the Onboard Manuals for Ferrari vehicles in PDF format. The documents
cannot be downloaded, but you can display them in the browser on your computer.

The manuals available are:

Quick Guide
Owner's Manual
Safety Manual
Apple CarPlay
Others (examples: Battery Conditioner Guide, Information on carbon fiber wheels, etc.)

 To display the Onboard Manuals, click on the Onboard Manuals button on the Technical
Documentation Homepage – Fig. 8.

 You can perform a search in the Onboard Manuals database (Fig.9) in the window that
appears using the following fields:

 Example: In the figure below, a search has been performed in the Quick Guide in English for
the GTC4 Lusso T model (Fig.10). Click on the PDF icon shown to display the desired manual.

 A new window will open which displays the Manual in PDF format. Box (4) shows the
commands that allow the user to scroll through the pages of the document. From left to right
(Fig.11), their functions are:

 The Onboard Manuals will not be immediately available for all models in all languages, but
will be gradually added.
3. Documentation button in each model
The Documentation button has been added to the menu for each model (Fig.12) so that you can
consult the Onboard Manuals and Technical Bulletins for the selected vehicle.

 The Onboard Manuals search is performed using the filters in box (5), in the same way as
indicated in section “2. Consulting the Onboard Manuals”. The display and navigation
modes in the PDF files are also the same.
 The Technical Bulletins for the selected model are listed in box (6). Simply click on the
filename to start downloading it in PDF format – Fig. 13.

4. Technical Documentation Attachments
An Attachments (7) panel has been added to the Spare Parts Catalog and S.T. Schedule for
each model. Here you can find more detailed documents for the specific Part Number or
Operation Code you are consulting. Click on the filename to start the download – Fig.14.
