NEW THIS WEEK
Freightliner Chassis Production Update
Daimler Trucks North America has begun a systematic orderly temporary
suspension of operations at multiple worksites in their production network as a
result of disruptions caused by the spread of the COVID-19 virus. DTNA plans
to resume normal operations on Monday, April 6.
GM Production Update
At this time, GM is extending their plant closures, but have not confirmed the
length of time. Once we have more information, we will share it.
Ford Production Update
Ford is planning to resume production for the Ford F-Series chassis on April 14.
2020 MY Ford F-Series Chassis Update - RPM Read Out on i4G Screen
We have recently discovered that on 2020 MY Ford F-Series chassis, Ford has
made a change in the chassis that makes it impossible for us to show the RPM

readout on the i4G screen on the front console. We are working with both Ford
and outside vendors to try and make this happen. As soon as we are able to
put the RPM back on the i4G screen, we will. We wanted to make everyone
aware this unexpected change in the 2020 MY Ford F-Series chassis.
Lexipol - A COVID-19 Resource
Lexipol is a leading provider of public safety policy and training solutions for the
first responder industry. They have put together a COVID-19 portal with
information specific to resources and training for those individuals. There are
multiple avenues of training ranging from EMS/Fire, Law Enforcement, and
Government employees. The portal is now open during this time of need at no
cost. Please visit the site below and sign up for free access to the training
material. Please share with with your customers.

Hilton Garden Inn - Grove City, OH
We were been notified that Hilton Garden Inn, a hotel that a lot of you use when
you come to Horton, has closed and will remain closed until the end of April due
to the COVID-19 virus.
Stock Unit Sold (Unit #19482)
Stock unit #19482 was sold earlier this week. It will be removed from our
Horton available inventory list below.
We will be adding stock units into production soon. Once I have unit numbers
and estimated time of completion. I will add it to our Demo/Stock invent

COVID-19 Update - Please read
On Tuesday, March 17, there was a bulletin that was sent out with a message
from REV Ambulance Group President Anoop Prakash in regard to COVID-19.

In order to lessen the potential impact of COVID-19 and the spread within our
community, we now have as many of our staff as possible working from home.
Please utilizes email to communicate with our staff since most will not have
access to their desk phone.

OEM Chassis Production Update
GM, Ford, and FCA (Fiat Chrysler Automobiles) have ceased production at
plants across North America from now through at least Monday, March 30,
2020 due to the Covid-19 virus. As of now, both International and Freightliner
are still running production.
Leader's Horton Demo Available
Leader has an Horton demo available for immediate sale. It is unit #18956. This
is a 2019 Ford F550 4x4 169"WB with a diesel engine. It is OEM red and has
Zero RPM and Liquid Spring installed. Please click here to review the specs

Recently, we sent out a bulletin with the Guidance from CDC specific to EMS
and other First Responders. Please click here to review the document. In the
next day or so, you will be receiving additional information on units and options
to help with decontamination.
i4G Demo/Customer Programming Charge Change
As most of you know, several years ago, we stopped charging to change the
i4G programming in our delivery bay to help with the "Horton Delivery
Experience". To help grow the "Horton Delivery Experience", we have decided
there will no longer be a charge in changing i4G programming on your demo
unit(s) once you have sold them to a customer. This will be a one-time offer
and the request must be submitted to us within 30 days of sell and will only be
allowed once all warranty documents have been submitted to us. After you sell
your demo, you can reach out to our Parts Department with the i4G
programming change request (please note "Horton Delivery Experience" on
the request) and they will work with you to get it completed. We have
committed to the Horton Delivery Experience by having a dedicated engineer to
do i4G programming changes after the unit has left our delivery bay. This
dedicated engineer is located in the Southwest building.
In regards to customer units who are requesting changes after the unit is
delivered to them and in service, we will offer a one-time change to their unit
with a max charge of $500.00 for all programming changes they are
requesting. This request must be submitted to us within 30 days after the unit
has been delivered to the customer (please note "Horton Delivery Experience"
on the request). Again, this is a one-time offer and for this to apply, all the
warranty documents must be submitted to us. This should be a minimum
amount of changes because if we hall all done this correctly, the units should
be built correctly the first time. Please note, if a customer wants a 2nd change,
it will go through our normal process at the normal reprogramming rate.
This is on new units being delivered only. Remounts are excluded from this
offer. (Last week for this notification.)
OTHER INFORMATION
Lead Time Update
Current production schedule: the next available production slot has a
completion date during the week of 11/9/20. Our current lead time is 210 to 235
days.

Amy Durst ([email protected]) and myself by close of
business each Wednesday; however, only if there have been changes made to
the form since the last time you submitted it. For example if the there have
been changes to the decision date or if you won/lost the business.
