Introduction
Certain model 567 and 579 vehicles may have been built with a windshield seal that could delaminate. Vehicles built from
9/27/2019 through 2/06/2020 with windshield Julian date codes between 263 of 2019 and 031 of 2020 could be affected.
Resolution
Fix-as-Fail
If a customer comes into your dealership and demonstrates the condition above, use the procedure below to replace the
windshield.
Warranty
Through Standard Warranty, Peterbilt
will pay for parts at dealer net plus applicable mark-up and labor:
If the following repairs are sublet, the dealer must file a long-form claim for the glass, sealant and sublet labor. Refer to
the Sublet Warranty Bulletin for guidelines.
If the repairs are not sublet, the following times are applicable. File a long form claim referencing 02-157. A clear picture
of the delamination is required.
3.0 hours labor to replace R44-6090 windshields (no camera bracket)
3.2 hours labor to replace R44-6092 windshields (camera bracket required)

Take-Off Parts Disposition: Take photos of the seal prior to removing the windshield, then Destroy take-off parts.

Parts are available from PACCAR Parts. Windshields are available only in packs of 5.
Refer to WebECAT to determine the appropriate parts to be ordered.
Part number R44-6090 requires only the windshield.
Part number R44-6092 requires the windshield and the camera bracket.

1. Inspect the windshield for signs of delamination as shown in the picture below.

2. Take a clear picture of the delamination to be submitted with the warranty claim.
3. Replace the windshield.
4. If the vehicle is equipped with a Bendix Fusion camera attached to the windshield (windshield R44-6092 in WebECAT),
refer to the attached Bendix Fusion Camera Service Data document for the installation procedure.
