Vehicles must not be delivered to customers until the required remedial measure has been carried out.
Therefore, please carry out the following Stop Sale, immediately.
Overview
Fuel injectors that were not manufactured according to specifications may have been installed in the engines
of the affected vehicles.
Therefore, all fuel injectors must be replaced before the vehicle is delivered to the customer.

Vehicle usage
The vehicles may only be driven for loading and unloading purposes in the transport chain.
Further use is not permitted. Test drives are to be omitted.
Test instructions and remedial measures
All fuel injectors in the affected vehicles must be replaced before delivery to customers.
A Technical Information (TI) with the repair description and information on warranty processing will be
published in calendar week 10/2020.
Until the Technical Information becomes available, the fuel injectors can be replaced by following the
instructions in the workshop manual 244019 "Replace fuel injectors". Please note relevant preparatory work
and additional parts required.
Warranty processing can take place as soon as the TI is available. We will inform you separately about this, as
it becomes available.
