Porsche Special Tools & Equipment has received many concerns over the past years about the failure of Blitz Table (VAS
6832) castors. We have been working with the world renowned castor company Blickle (2 years approximately) from Germany, that has a North American distribution warehouse near PCNA. This castor company has taken the time to research and
test our original castors to find out why they fail. The end result is that the type of Poly (Ester/Urethane) used in the composition of the castor wheel is known to absorb moisture over time. In regions of the U.S. this type of moisture incursion could
be at a higher risk in areas with high moisture content in the atmosphere (coastal regions) . With many months of testing at
PCNA and the new manufacturer, Porsche
Special Tools & Equipment is ready to release the new replacement castors for
our Blitz Tables. You must order two each of the listed part numbers below through POLARIS (Porsche Parts Logistics). We
recommend that each dealer replace all four wheels on the first new ugrade from the old wheels to be sure that the table is
perfectly balanced. If you have any questions about these new castors, please feel free to contact Porsche Special Tools &
Equipment at askthetoolguy@porsche.us. This bulletin replaces bulletin # SPTL 1662.
