Please note that with PIWIS Tester release 39.200.xx coding errors may result during programming after
control unit replacement.
The temporary workaround is to use an older tester software version.
We are working on the solution and will keep you posted via this campaign page.
Overview
The PASM control unit may stop working on the affected vehicles after several years of driving due to a
defective soldered joint.
As a result, the function of the chassis may be impaired and a corresponding warning will be displayed in the
instrument cluster.

To prevent this from happening, the PASM control unit must be replaced as a precautionary measure.
Please arrange for this measure to be carried out on the affected vehicles the next time these vehicles come
into the workshop.

(I-no. 1BK). Additional parts needed may be ordered if necessary without block. Note: all US vehicles are
assigned to scope 1.
