Some 2019 model year RAV4 Hybrid vehicles may exhibit a flutter/rattle noise during vehicle
operation from the HV battery cooling fan. A new HV battery intake duct has been developed.
Follow the Repair Procedure in this bulletin to address this condition.

1. Using Techstream, active-test the hybrid battery cooling fan.

YES — Continue to step 2.
NO — This bulletin does NOT apply. Continue diagnosis using the applicable
Repair Manual.

2. Replace the HV battery intake duct with the NEW part.

3. Confirm the flutter/rattle noise is no longer present.
