Introduction:
Effective December 2015, the Universal Allison DOC® V13.2.0 update was made available as a “no charge”
internet­download for all the Universal Allison DOC® V13.x users. Allison Transmission, Inc. recommends all
V13.x users to upgrade to V13.2.0, as this new version incorporates important features and enhancements
discussed below.
In order to upgrade the software to V13.2.0, V13.x must be already installed on the PC. Earlier versions of the
service tool (e.g. V11.0.0, V12.0.0, etc.) cannot be upgraded to V13.2.0, unless V13.x is first installed. The
Universal Allison DOC® product combines Allison DOC® For PC, Allison DOC® For PC H 40/50 EPTM and Allison
DOC® For Fleets. There is one install media but a valid license is necessary to enable each product offering.
Specific enhancements included in V13.2.0, as well as downloading and installation procedures, are the main
topics addressed in this Service Information Letter (SIL). This SIL is not intended to replace or supersede SIL
6­TR­15 and SIL 23­TR­15, but to complement it as users transition to V13.2.0. It is advisable to still refer to SIL
6­TR­15, SIL 23­TR­15 and the Allison Web Store (https://allison.noregon.com) for details related to PC platform
requirements, V13.0.0 ordering information, and other pertinent information.
NOTE: Nexiq USB­Link users connecting to 5th Gen TCMs must upgrade their USB­Link drivers
to version 9.0.1.0 or later. Using older drivers may cause faults on the vehicle and/or cause other
components to malfunction. Go to www.nexiq.com for the latest drivers.

Enhancements included in Universal Allison DOC®­Allison DOC® For PC V13.2.0 :
The Universal Allison DOC® update includes the following enhancements:
• Adds a new language: Arabic
– Translations include Allison DOC® GUI only
The updates specific to Allison DOC® For PC (H 40/50 EPTM):
• Updates for MY16 release
– Adds 6D SID level recognition as MY16
Download and Installation Procedures:
There are three ways to download and install Allison DOC® For PC V13.2.0:
1. Update Application feature:
From the Allison DOC® For PC V13.x main menu, select Software Configuration. Then, select the Update
Application tab, click on
button, and follow the instructions on the screen. Depending on the
internet communication system, this process may take several minutes.
2. Update URL:
From the software main menu, select Software Configuration. Then, select the Update Application tab,
click on the displayed URL (i.e. http://www.noregon.com/allisondoc/docuniupdate.html). Once the Update
for V13.2.0, and select
option. Select the
website is displayed, click on
Desktop from the “Save in:” pull­down menu,or any other easy­to­access location on the PC, and save the
DOCUpdate1320.exe file. Once the file is successfully downloaded, make sure to close the Universal Allison
DOC® software, double­click on the DOCUpdate1320.exe file, and follow the instructions on the screen.
3. Allison Web Store:
Go to https://allison.noregon.com, and select Technical Support from the main menu, then select Support
Information. Click on the link to Universal Allison DOC® (Allison DOC® For PC Service Tool) Update. Once
button for V13.2.0, and select
the Update Website is displayed, click on the
option. Select the Desktop from the “Save in:” pull­down menu or any other easy­to­access location on the
PC and save the DOCUpdate1320.exe file. Once the file is successfully downloaded, close Universal Allison
DOC®, double­click on the DOCUpdate1320.exe file, and follow the instructions on the screen.
NOTE: Once the “V13.2.0 has been successfully applied” window is displayed, and you click OK, the
Adobe® Acrobat® Reader® upgrade process may start. Please follow the instructions on the screen.
