Dear Dealers,
A complete kit has been created and is now available with the complete internal engine parts
necessary to install the improved starter clutch system for the following engines:
Testastretta 11° 1200cc
Testastretta DVT 1200cc
Testastretta DVT 1262cc
installed in the models indicated below:
Monster 1200 Model Year 2016 (all versions)
Diavel Model Year 2016 (all versions)
Multistrada 1200 Model Year 2015-2016-2017 (all versions)
XDiavel Model Year 2017-2018 (all versions)
For repairs requiring replacement of the starter clutch it is required to use the specified kit for
each of the models defined in this bulletin. The 3 available kits are defined on the following
pages.
NOTE
For vehicles outside of warranty (standard factory warranty, extended Ducati
warranties, and aftermarket warranty) goodwill assistance may be available at the sole
discretion of Ducati North America based on the customer records, time and mileage in
service, and maintenance history of the vehicle.
