is a noticeable seat heater temperature difference between the driver and/or passenger seats.
Follow the Repair Procedure in this bulletin to address this condition.

Repair Procedure
1. Confirm the condition exists.
When the seat heater is turned on, is there a noticeable temperature difference between the
driver and/or passenger seats regardless of the setting that reaches up to 120°F?
YES — Continue to step 2.
NO — This bulletin does NOT apply. Continue diagnosis using the applicable
Repair Manual.
2. Using Techstream, check the A/C ECU Data List.
Refer to TIS, applicable model and model year Repair Manual:
2016 – 2019 RX350:

3. Check FR and FL seat heater temperatures.
When the seat heater is turned on, does the signal increase sharply and reach up
to 120°F?
YES — This bulletin does NOT apply. Continue diagnosis using the applicable
Repair Manual.
NO — Continue to step 4.

4. Replace the seat heater element that is functioning incorrectly according to the results
of step 3.
