Service Action: Replace the Manufacturer’s Certification Label
Please perform the procedure outlined in this Service Information on all affected vehicles before
customer delivery. In the event the customer has already taken delivery of the vehicle, please
perform the procedure the next time the vehicle is in the shop.

The gross vehicle weight data was not specified correctly on the B-pillar label.
AFFECTED VEHICLES
This Service Action involves certain F16 (X6) vehicles manufactured from November 24, 2015 to
February 25, 2016.
Vehicles which require this Service Action to be completed will show it as “Open” when checked
either in AIR, the “Service Menu" of DCSnet (Dealer Communication System) or with the Key
Reader.
CORRECTION
Replace manufacturer’s certification label on the B-pillar.
PROCEDURE
1. Locate label on lower part of Bpillar
2. Remove the incorrect label
3. Thoroughly clean the adhesive
area.
4. Affix the correct label.
