Door Opening Body Flange WeatherstripDesign Change

INTRODUCTION:
This bulletin announces a design change to the front and rear door body flange weatherstrips in
response to concerns regarding the doors being somewhat difficult to close fully. The new parts make
closing the doors easier while maintaining a tight seal against air and water intrusion and reducing
outside road noise levels in the cabin.
PRODUCTION CHANGE INFORMATION:
The new door body flange weatherstrips were incorporated into production starting with VIN
J*237349.
PART INFORMATION:
The previous versions of these weatherstrips were the same part number for the left and right.
The new parts are made individually for each door opening flange (R/F, L/F R/R and L/R). The
differences between the old and new parts are provided in the illustrations below.

When replacing the weatherstrips, follow the procedure in the applicable Service Manual.
IMPORTANT: Always confirm the Fitting Position Marks are installed in their proper positions as
shown in the illustrations above.
