When adding sensors, or installing new tires, take a screen shot of pre-programmed TPMS IDs with
Karma Sync prior to the new fitting.
Once all Sensors are learned as shown with the ATEQ tool in this bulletin, confirm which tire the IDs
are located as they may different than previous screen capture noted sensor ID.
Tire pressure monitor sensor IDs are permanently assigned to each sensor, but when swapping tires,
technician should notice that IDs may have changed location as well. noting the sensor ID position
relative to before any tire or TPMS exchange will show the tool and set up has functioned correctly.
8. Begin procedure at LF (left front) tire
valve stem (fig 4a)
- Press green trigger button to activate
sensor and again to begin
- The TPMS tool will emit an audible
beep and vibrate when sensor is
activated
- Continue procedure to RF, RR and LR

- The tool picks up the sensor signals from the tire side.
Make sure the tool is on the tire for best
reception as shown (fig 5a - 5c)
- This will also take sensor out of shipping mode
automatically, if pointed correctly at sensor.
This applies to new sensors.
NOTE: The antenna is located on the left hand side
above the “ATEQ” side of the red label area.
It must closely point to the sensor so the tool can more
easily read the sensor.

You will need to install the WebVT software or on
