Replace the Cummins OCV if a problem is found and return the removed component to Cummins. See procedure
below.
Return replaced filter kits to Cummins, even if only replaced due to maintenance interval. See procedure below.
Warranty
For Cummins OCV failures from 02/01/2018 through 07/31/2018 on PACCAR MY2018 MX-11 and MX-13 engines:
File a long-form warranty claim through Kenworth
Reference RMA number PC17001 in the story and on the shipping packaging
Ship the components to Cummins as directed in the Procedure section below.

Return the filter media to Cummins as directed in the Procedure section below.
Kenworth dealers may perform E233 repairs on Peterbilt chassis, use the long claim input form in DWWC selecting
"Draft/Offline Claims", the "General" tab, and in the "Type of Claim" drop down box, select "PACCAR Engine Claim", then
manually enter claim codes (Campaign #, Failure type, and SRT).
Background
The purpose of this is to enable Cummins to perform a detailed inspection of any early failures and to implement timely
correction.
PACCAR MY2018 MX-11 and MX-13 engines are equipped with a Cummins Crankcase Ventilation module. The Module has
an optimized electric drive and a serviceable filter media that requires replacement based on the duty cycle/ operation time
and accumulated mileage.
Modules and filters need to be returned to Cummins to allow them to perform a detailed inspection of any early failures and to
implement timely correction.
The duration of the expedited return is 6 months. Starting 02/01/2018 and ending 07/31/2018.

Drain the oil from the filter media or OCV module.
Package the filter or module appropriately (double sealed bags) to prevent leakage during shipping.
