Rear Window Vibrates or Binds during Operation
Rear window vibration, slow operation, binding, abnormal noises or pinch protection activation without obstruction
during operation may be related to improperly installed window guide seals.

Technical Background
Incorrect assembly of the window guide seals in the B-Pillar and C-Pillar areas may cause excess resistance
during window operation. The window guide seal may be damaged from not being fully seated in the window
guide channel in the B-Pillar and C-Pillar areas of the door.

Production Solution
Quality alert to ensure correct assembly of the window guides in production as of VIN A3_GC025570.

Service
Before replacing any components, check to ensure the window guide seal is properly installed in the B-pillar and
C-pillar guide tracks inside the lower section of the door.
If the window guide is not properly installed, replaced rear door window guide according to the repair manual, see
Repair Group 64 in ELSA.
