Production Solution
Optimized software. The new software prevents fast changes in the brightness of the head-up display. It does not
affect the screen brightness level relative to ambient light.

SVM Update Instructions
1. Follow all instructions in TSB 2011732: 00 Software Version Management (SVM), operating instructions.
2. Update the windshield projection head-up display control module, J898 (address word 82) using Special
Functions >> SVM – Code Input on the ODIS tester and enter the code 82A001.
Tip: Always put a battery maintainer on the vehicle and have a USB connection at the scan tool head in the
OBD Port to the ODIS tester.
Tip: The SVM Process must be completed in its entirety to ensure that the database receives the update
confirmation response. A warranty claim may not be reimbursed if there is no confirmation response to support the
claim.
