Summary
PRPC, Programmable Relay Pwer Center, a part of the InterMotive FlexTech system. Certain PRPC modules may occasionally exhibit a condition where communication is not received from any cnnected LIN devices. Users may notice the interlock LED panel will have all the LEDs lit with no conditions met.

Product Affected: Programmable Relay Power Center (PRPC), a part of the InterMotive FlexTech system.
Vehicle: All PRPC vehicle applications.
Issue: Certain PRPC modules may occasionally exhibit a condition where communication is not received from
any connected LIN devices (Gateway interlock LED panel, Switch Backer board, Fast Idle module, etc.). Users
encountering this issue may notice the interlock LED panel will have all LEDs lit with no conditions met.
To identify the problem with no LED panel connected, check for the following fault codes (see PRPC
instructions for displaying fault codes):

Possible implications of this issue:
• No lift function
• No high idle
• Some outputs may not operate as intended
Cycling power on the PRPC module will restore proper operation. This can be done by unplugging the 6 pin
J19 connector at the PRPC module, or by unplugging the data link harness that is connected to the OBDII
connector.
Note: If cycling power does not restore proper operation, the problem is unrelated to this TSB. Contact
technical support for further assistance.
Units Affected: All PRPC modules using LIN communication (small 4 pin black connector with J5 label).
Action: A new version of firmware (v4.42) resolves the issue. Units in the field can be updated with
InterMotive’s programming cable and IDM software. The module does not require removal. Contact technical
support for more information.
If your application does not use LIN (nothing connected to the J5 connector on the module), there is no need
to update your current firmware.
