The purpose of this Product Upgrade bulletin is to inform REV dealers of
the procedure for installing additional means of securing the overhead
galley cabinet to the slide-out ceiling in certain model year 2017 Fleetwood
Bounder and Holiday Rambler Vacationer, Model 35P motorhomes. A list of
affected vehicles appears at the end of this Bulletin.

On motorhomes affected by this Product Upgrade, the fasteners for the
galley overhead cabinet may be inadequately secured by the existing
fasteners, and may come loose over time.
CORRECTION:
Follow the steps below to install cabinet attachment brackets to the galley
overhead cabinet and ceiling.
1. Park the motorhome on dry, level pavement with adequate clearance to
extend the galley slide-out room. Place the transmission in Park and set
the parking brake. Chock the wheels to prevent movement.
2. Level the unit using the leveler touchpad.
3. With the engine running, extend the galley slideout room.

Open the front galley overhead
cabinet door to gain access to the
horizontal pine cleat that secures
the cabinet face to the ceiling. See
Figures 1 & 2.
5.
Position a bracket against the
horizontal pine cleat and the ceiling.
Using the holes in the bracket as
a guide, mark the locations for two
holes in the pine cleat. See Figure 3.

6.
Carefully pre-drill 1/16” x 3/4” deep pilot holes in
the cleat. Use new #6 x 5/8” sheetmetal screws to
secure the angle bracket to the pine cleat.
7.
Push up on the cabinet to ensure the cabinet face
is tight along the ceiling.
Using the bracket holes as a guide, carefully drill
two, 7/32” dia. x 1” deep holes into the ceiling.
See Figure 4. Rivet the bracket to the ceiling
using the holes.
NOTE: When drilling holes use care to avoid
drilling through the cabinet face or slide
ceiling. Hole depth of ¾” to 1“ is sufficient.
