Introduction:
Allison Transmission and Navistar have jointly identified a potential quality issue related to the adaptation hardware
between the Navistar N13 engine and the Allison TC10® transmission. Damage to the adaptation hardware can
develop and lead to failure of the flexplate. This Field Action is being initiated to replace the flexplate assembly with
an updated part.
This Field Action pertains only to International® ProStar® and TranStar® trucks equipped with N13 engines
and TC10® transmissions, as identified in the VIN list below:
