PURPOSE

The purpose of this article is to expedite the technician's work, when they need to

obtain an adapter for connecting Pressure Test Kit ZTSE4409 air gauge to diagnostic

port on the oil pan.

DETAILS

In EPA10 MaxxForce 7 Diagnostic Manual , page 85 in the PDF (section 4 ENGINE

SYMPTOMS DIAGNOSTICS \ Lubrication System \ Low Oil Pressure Diagnostics), Step

2 writes:

Connect Pressure Test Kit ZTSE4409 air gauge to diagnostic port on the oil pan,

using adapter (obtain locally).

The adapter that works is 1841403C1 "Fitting and o-ring quick connect (10mm)," and it is

available through the Product Distribution Center (PDC).
