TP33 PANEL /BLACK BOX
TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE
FAILURE 1
HEATER/LIGHTS/SLIDE ROOM/AWNING and other devices out of control or no response. eg: Slide Room/Awning
light keep runing but never stops and the lights keep on.

Solution:
Troubleshoot according to below steps:
Step 1: Press TP33 PANEL "POWER" button to turn off the device and then turn it on. If it doesn't solve the problem, go to the
next step.

Step 2: Use a hard fine-needle to reset TP33 PANEL and Black box. If it doesn't solve the problem, go to the next step.

Step 3: Pull out Black box 12PIN socket. If it doesn't solve the problem, go to the next step.

Step 4: Cut off the main power switch of the RV.
Step 5: Cut off the corresponding SLIDE/AWNING power input connecting wires from the Black box and insulate the end of the
wires immediately.

Warning:
STEP 4, 5 ONLY BE DONE BY PROFESSIONALS. MUST INSULATE THE ENDS OF WIRES IMMEDIATELY AFTER
CUTTING OFF THE WIRES.

FAILURE 2
TP33 PANEL BUTTON doesn't work.

Solution:
Troubleshoot according to below steps:

Step 1: Press TP33 PANEL "POWER" button to turn off the device and then turn it on. If it doesn't solve the problem, go to the
next step.

Step 2: Use a hard fine-needle to reset TP33 PANEL and Black box. If it doesn't solve the problem, go to the next step.

Step 3: Replace with a new TP33 panel.

FAILURE 3
Some buttons on TP33 do not work. eg: Slide Room1,Awning do not work

Solution:
Troubleshoot according to below steps:
Step 1: Replace TP33 Control panel with a new one. If it doesn't solve the problem, go to the next step.
Step 2: Replace RSB66 Black Box with a new one.
Step 3: Pull out RJ45 connector from TP33. If it doesn't solve the problem, go to the next step.

Step 4: Replace with a new TP33 panel.

FAILURE 4
TP33 DSI FAULT Display Error

Solution:
Troubleshoot according to below steps:
Step 1: Press TP33 PANEL "POWER" button to turn off the device and then turn it on. If it doesn't solve the problem, go to the
next step.

Step 2: Use a hard fine-needle to reset TP33 PANEL and Black box.If it doesn't solve the problem, go to the next step.

Step 3: Examine and repair DSI FAULT yellow cable.

Step 4: Replace with a new TP33 panel.

NOTE:
If DSI FAULT display error still exists after replacement of new black box, please check the peripheral circuit connecting
the black box.

FAILURE 5
TP33 TANK LEVEL Display Error

Solution:
Upgrade the software to match the hardware. Refer to "Upgrade the RSB66 software SOP" for detailed upgrade steps.

NOTE:
Select the right software version in accordance with the production batch. eg: Use V1.25h for devices
S/N:160600001-160602040.

FAILURE 6
SLIDE/AWNING Cannot Retract.

Solution 6-1:
Step 1: Check if there is any unused SLIDE/AWNING ports on RSB66 Black box?. If yes, please troubleshoot according to
below steps; If no, please refer to Solution2.

NOTE:
SLIDE ROOM1/ROOM2/ROOM3 ports number:43-54, AWNING1/2 ports number: 63-66,5-8.

Step 2: Cut off the main power switch of the RV; Open upper cover of RSB66 and then take down the "defective"
SLIDE/AWNING wires with a screwdriver from RSB66.

Step 3: Connect the SLIDE/AWNING wires to the corresponding and unused SLIDE/AWNING ports. Refer to PCB board silk
screening to find the correct ports.

Step 4: Swith on the main power of RV.
Step 5: Press TP33 button to retract SLIDE/AWNING.

Solution 6-2:
Step 1: Open upper cover of RSB66 Black box and then take down all the "defective" SLIDE/AWNING OUT+ and OUT- wires.
Step 2: Connect SLIDE/AWNING OUT+ wire to GND and OUT- wire to 12V. Cut off the connecting wires between
SLIDE/AWNING and power supply immediately after SLIDE/AWNING retracts.
Step 3: Insulate the ends of the SLIDE/AWNING wires and drive RV to designated after-sales maintenance station.

NOTE:
Try solution 6-3 if the RV is at campsite as it's hard to disassemble upper cover of RSB66 Black box.

Solution 6-3:
Step 1: Cut off the main power switch of the RV.
Step 2: Cut off SLIDE/AWNING OUT+,OUT-,12V,GND wires with a plier from the ends on the RSB66 black box.
Step 3: Connect OUT+ wire from RV to GND and OUT- wire to 12v, and insulate both negative and positive ends of the
wires to the power supply.

Step 4: Swith on main power of RV. Cut off the connecting wires between SLIDE/AWNING and power supply immediately
after SLIDE/AWNING retracts.
Step 5: Disconnect OUT+ wire to GND, and OUT- to 12V. Insulate the ends of wires.
Step 6: Swith on main power of RV and drive RV to designated after-sales maintenance station.
