Cause: This may be caused by a failed bonding process between the roof moulding stud and the roof moulding.

NOTE: remove only the roof moulding that is loose/adrift.
Remove the loose/adrift roof moulding (see TOPix Workshop Manual, section 501-08: Exterior Trim and Ornamentation - Roof
Moulding).
2& .cAUTION: do not damage the surrounding paintwork.
Using a suitable tool, remove the 12 roof moulding studs.
3Using a suitable degreaser, clean the area shown.

windshield
(1) and
move
towards the
rear of the
roof panel
(2) and use
a suitable
marker to
mark the
roof
channel in
the
positions
indicated.

cAUTION: do not apply excessive amounts of the bonding glue.

NOTE: make sure the bonding glue is applied to the center of the
roof channel at each marking .
Apply the bonding glue to the areas previously marked in step 4.

Install the
new roof
moulding
studs in the
positions
previously
applied
with
bonding
glue in
Step 5.
