This is to revise and replace TRP 1697-A, dated 10-Nov-2015. This revision is to:
1. Change the communication to an In-Shop Campaign.
If additional information is required, contact your Cummins Warranty Operations Group

Description
This In-Shop Campaign is being issued to recalibrate the Variable Geometry Turbocharger
(VGT) actuator of certain ISX15 CM2350 engines. It provides authorization for certified repair
locations to recalibrate the VGT actuator anytime the unit is in for maintenance or repairs, with
certain restrictions on reimbursement.

In order to qualify for repair under this field action, an engine:

1. will be covered In Base Engine Warranty, Emissions Control System Warranty, or CAP
coverage period, and
2. must be on the attached ESN list.
After verifying that the engine meets the above requirements, perform the following actions:
1. Reflash the VGT Actuator with updated software. Please refer to the appropriate
attachment below for detailed instructions.
a. If using Insite 8.0, follow instructions detailed in Attachment B.
b. If using Insite 8.1.1, follow instructions detailed in Attachment C.
NOTE: Although not required as part of this repair, it is highly recommended to use
Insite 8.0. Insite 8.1.1 can be used, but requires additional steps to reflash the VGT
actuator with updated software.

NOTE: This In-Shop Campaign does not reimburse for any SRTs except those that are
listed. Only SRT 10-066 can be claimed under this In-Shop Campaign. It is
recommended, but not required, that this Field Action be performed as part of another
Cummins warrantable repair event to allow reimbursement for charges such as travel,
admin, troubleshooting, or access issues that are outside the scope of this document.
