This is to revise and replace TRP 1651-B, dated 06-Nov-2015. This revision is to:
1. Change the communication to an In-Shop Campaign.
If additional information is required, contact your Cummins Warranty Operations Group
Leader.

Description
This In-Shop Campaign is being issued to recalibrate the Engine Control Module (ECM) of
ISX15 CM2350 engines. It provides authorization for certified repair locations to recalibrate the
ECM anytime the unit is in for maintenance or repairs, with certain restrictions on
reimbursement.

Action
In order to qualify for repair under this field action, an engine:
1. must be within Base Engine Warranty, the Emissions Coverage period and/or within a

CAP Coverage period, and
2. must be on the attached ESN listing.
After verifying that the engine meets the above requirements, perform the following actions:
NOTE: If the ESN is also eligible for TRP1479, follow the instructions in TRP1479 to
inspect the SCR catalyst and select the appropriate calibration.
1. Use the ECM Calibration Revision History available on QuickServe® Online to confirm
the revision date of the calibration currently installed in the engine. If ECM already
contains the most recent calibration revision, DO NOT recalibrate the engine, no further
action is needed.
2. If a previous revision is installed, recalibrate the ECM as described in Procedure 019-032
in the ISX15 CM2350 Service Manual (4310641). Use the latest calibration revision
available on QuickServe® Online.
3. Provide documentation of ECM revision codes from before and after the recalibration in
the claim narrative.

NOTE: This In-Shop Campaign does not reimburse for any SRTs except those that are
listed. It is recommended, but not required, that this Field Action be performed as part
of another Cummins warrantable repair event to allow reimbursement for charges such
as travel, admin, troubleshooting, or access issues that are outside the scope of this
document.
NOTE: Select the appropriate OPTIONAL SRT for the repair performed. SRT 19-611
should only be claimed if the unit DID require calibration. SRT 17-902 should only be
claimed if the unit DID NOT require calibration.
