This is to revise and replace TRP 1355-A, dated 13-Aug-2013. This revision is to:
1. Add ISL CM2350 and ISLG CM2180 Engines to this TRP, and
2. Add action note.
If additional information is required, contact your Cummins Warranty Operations Group
Leader.

Description
This TRP is being issued to address air compressor head gasket failures on ISL CM2250, ISL
CM2350, and ISLG CM2180 transit bus applications. The work authorized to be completed as
part of this TRP, in the event of a air compressor head gasket failure, is to replace the quick
disconnect coolant fittings on the return line from the compressor head to the water pump inlet.

Action
In order to qualify for repair under this field action, an engine:
1. will be covered In the Base Engine Warranty period, and
2. must be on the attached ESN list, and
3. must exibit coolant or air leaks from the air compressor head.
After verifying that the engine meets the above requirements, perform the following actions:
1. In the event of a air compressor head gasket failure, in addition to replacing the air
compressor head as part of the warrantable repair, remove P/N 4981096 x2 (connector,
quick disconnect) and install P/N 5265880 x2. SRT 99-099 has been included for the
fitting change.
NOTE: Two claims will need to be filed: The compressor head will need to be filed
under a warranty claim. The fittings and labor to install them need to be filed under
a claim for this TRP.

Material Disposition
Materials removed as a result of this field action must be scrapped.
