ETA Requests
As a reminder, please continue to submit all ETA inquiries through the Exception Report in Paragon. If you are not
satisfied with the response, please enter a SP case. Please note that SP cases cannot be entered until an ETA
inquiry has already been submitted. If for some reason a SP case cannot be submitted through Paragon, please
submit the request via the SP form located on the PAC website.

Thanksgiving Holiday Schedule
In observance of the Thanksgiving holiday, please be advised that the entire MBUSA organization and PDC network
will be closed on Thursday, November 27'h. With limited staffing, the PAC is open on Friday, November 28'h from
10:00 am to 6:00 pm EST. The PDCs are open with normal operating schedule. The PDCs will be shipping VOR
orders placed on Friday, November 28'h with a 3:00 pm local cut-off time.

additional information.

Warranty Manual Policy Updates and Clarifications
Road Test - This policy has been further clarified to assist dealer technicians and warranty administrators when
claiming for diagnostic road testing; effect immediately.
Spare Parts and Over-the-Counter Parts: Parts purchase receipt must be retained in compliance with record
retention policies; effective February 1, 2015.
Sublet Repairs including Glass Claims - Effective February 1, 2015, dealers will be required to attach all sublet
invoices to their claims via the" Attachments" tab. If the sublet invoices are not attached to the claim via the
"Attachments" tab or the sublet invoices do not meet requirements set in the Warranty Manual section "Sublet
Repairs including Glass Claims", those claims would be subject to debit.

Tow Reference Number Application
The Warranty Department is excited to announce another enhancement of NetStar to assist with claim
submission. When submitting claims where a tow is involved, simply check the box for "Tow" and when finished
entering the claim, click on the submit button. The system will automatically search for the Tow Reference
Number and apply it to the claim for you. There is no longer a need to type in 9999999 on the additional repair
lines that did not cause the tow.

TIP of the WEEK: Checking Available ETAs in Paragon
In Reports, click the Exception Report link and run a report. Scroll to the right to locate the columns relevant to Vendor
Referrals (Germany/MBUSI).
1. Vendor column - Displays where the part is coming from; Germany /MBUSI.
2. Purchasing Document - Displays the PO Number that was generated to transmit the order to Germany /MBUSI.
3. MBZ Number - Displays the Delivery Note from Germany/MBUSI; this indicates that the part has been shipped (or
will that day).
4. CRM Number - Displays the Order Acknowledgement from Germany /MBUSI; this indicates that they have received
the order and will process.
5. Delivery Date - Displays the date that the part is Expected, Confirmed to- or has Shipped.
The delivery date is color coded as follows.
The Green Dates will indicate that the part has been shipped (or will ship) as of that date.

The Yellow Dates will indicate that the part is confirmed to ship on that date.

The Red Dates will indicate that the part is Expected to ship on that date (this could likely change).
