Condition
The vehicle does not work in electric operation mode; the combustion engine does not switch off for electric
driving although the high-voltage battery is fully charged.
The vehicle is ready for operation (“Hybrid ready” is shown) when selecting the driving mode, the combustion
engine starts.

Technical Background
The vehicle cannot be driven electrically, or the combustion engine does not switch off for electric driving because
the mixture adaptation has not yet been completed.
The mixture adaptation values (programmed values) are reset after updating the engine control unit or deleting the
entry.
After resetting the programmed values, another program is necessary.

Production Solution
Not applicable.

Service
Reprogram the mixture adaptation values as follows:
1. Access via the guided functions/01 engine electronics.
2. Create reprogramed readiness code: (adaptation run via tester).
3. Warm up the combustion engine, engage the handbrake.
4. Press the accelerator pedal; 2 second kick down (if the combustion engine does not yet
run).
5. Start diagnosis.

6. Operate acceleration and brakes. Engine speed must be increased a few times. After about
90 seconds, the values are successfully programmed.
7. Switch off the engine.
