Introduction
The rear combination lights on some 2013 - 2014 model year FR-S vehicles may exhibit cracking
from the upper surface of the lens. This can result from the trunk lid contacting the rear combination
light housing if excessive force is applied to the trunk lid when closing . Follow the Repair Procedure
in this bulletin to address this condition .

Repair Procedure
1. Confirm the upper surface of the lens in the rear combination light is cracked.
Figure 1.
2. Replace the Luggage Compartment Door Weatherstrip.
HINT
It is NOT recommended to use new parts with the prior cushions for this condition.
3. Replace the Luggage Compartment Door Cushions.
HINT
It is NOT recommended to use new parts with the prior weatherstrip for this condition.
4. Replace combination light by removing the components from the combination light housing.
NOTE
The sealing gasket is a "ONE USE ONLY" type gasket and MUST be replaced every time a
combination light housing is removed from the vehicle.

5. Install wiring components from the original combination light housing into the NEW light housing.

6. Road test the vehicle to confirm that there are no squeaks or rattles.
