I HAVE ENCOUNTERED A ROUGH / HARD TRANSMISSION SHIFT CONDITION, FROM A STANDING START, PRIMARILY WHEN THE TRANSMISSION SHIFTS FROM 2ND TO 3RD. THIS CONDITION IS CONSISTENT WITH CHRYSLER CASE NUMBER S2021000005. I HAVE NOTICED THAT JUST PRIOR TO THE HARD SHIFTING THAT THE ENGINE RPM GOES UP TO APPROXIMATELY 3,000 RPM AND THEN SHIFTS HARD INTO 3RD GEAR. ADDITIONALLY, THE HARD SHIFT CONDITION SEEMS TO BE MORE PREVALENT WHEN THE ACCELERATION OCCURS WHILE TURNING RIGHT. I HAD MY VEHICLE SERVICED AT MY LOCAL CHRYSLER DEALER (NORTHTOWN CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP RAM) WHO (1) REPROGRAMMED THE TRANSMISSION CONTROL MODULE AND (2) PERFORMED A QUICK LEARN ON THE TRANSMISSION. THIS IS CONSISTENT WITH CHRYSLER'S SERVICE RECOMMENDATION UNDER THE ABOVE MENTIONED CASE NUMBER FOR THIS CONDITION. HOWEVER, CHRYSLER INDICATES THAT THIS SERVICE MAY NOT FULLY RESOLVE THE ISSUE AND ANOTHER QUICK LEARN MAY BE REQUIRED IN THE FUTURE. MY CONCERN IS TWO-FOLD.
