I HAVE A 2016 FORD FUSION AND I JUST RECENTLY BEGAN EXPERIENCING CODE P302 AND LOSING COOLANT. I REPLACED THE SPARK PLUGS AND COIL AND THE LIGHT WENT OUT FOR A FEW WEEKS BUT THEN IT CAME BACK ON AND ONLY GOT WORSE. ON ONE OF THOSE OCCASIONS MY CAR LITERALLY SHUT OFF WHILE DRIVING IT ON A BUSY ROAD. THANKFULLY I WAS ABLE TO MANEUVER IT TO THE EMERGENCY LANE. THE SHUT OFF APPARENTLY WAS DUE TO AN ENGINE COOLANT FAILURE. AFTER SPEAKING WITH FORD ABOUT IT I WAS TOLD THAT COOLANT IS MORE THAN LIKELY LEAKING AND I WOULD NEED TO REPLACE THE ENTIRE ENGINE. I AM FILING A COMPLAINT WITH THE NHTSA CONCERNING THIS MATTER. I CAN'T AFFORD TO OVER 6K FOR A NEW MOTOR. I AM STILL MAKING PAYMENTS AND MY CAR SITS IN THE DRIVEWAY.
