Summary
We have had the steering wheel replaced twice in this vehicle since purchasing it brand new. This is not the 3rd steering wheel in the truck. From what we can tell this is extremely common with this VW. There is an issue with the wheel ring that causes the circuitry to "freak" out and cause the lane assist system/warning to come on/off repeatedly on the dash. It happens when you turn the wheel and flashes on the screen/auditable alerts multiple times. It is unsafe to drive as the warning happens for no rhyme or reason. Causing malfunction to the lane assist feature and is extremely distracting for the driver. Yes, the dealer has been able to replicate the issue. They have successfully replaced the steering wheel twice no (under warranty) There were no warnings prior to the issue happening. At which point the waring lights and audible alerts starting happening. This is clearly a recall issue for VW. Our concern is we are now on the 3rd steering wheel in a vehicle we bought brand new and it is now out of warranty. After the first wheel replacement there were no issues for approx. 1 year, then it happened again. There is a part that is degrading within the wheel and causing this to happen.

I am submitting this complaint regarding Honda’s unreasonable delay in completing a safety recall on my vehicle. I purchased three brand-new Honda vehicles because I trusted Honda’s reputation for quality and safety. Unfortunately, all three vehicles became subject to safety recalls. I have made every reasonable effort to resolve this issue. I personally visited 7 to 8 Honda dealerships throughout [XXX] and [XXX] and contacted Honda America Customer Relations multiple times. As a result of those communications, Honda arranged a recall part for one of my vehicles, and the repair was completed at Ball Honda. However, my vehicle with VIN [XXX] remains unrepaired because the required recall part has still not been provided. My vehicle has been unusable for approximately one and a half months. This vehicle is essential for my business. Because it is subject to an active safety recall, I cannot responsibly use it or allow my employees to operate it until the recall is repaired. As a result of Honda’s delay, I have suffered significant financial losses, including: Continuing to make monthly loan payments on a vehicle I cannot use. Paying out of pocket to rent replacement vehicles. Losing business income and opportunities. Business disruption caused by the prolonged delay. I believe Honda has failed to remedy this safety recall within a reasonable period of time. I respectfully request that NHTSA review Honda’s handling of this recall and the prolonged delay in providing the necessary repair. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Summary
An authorized dealership performed a mandatory manufacturer safety recall repair on my vehicle for the Engine Oil Pump Belt and Tensioner (Ford Recall 23S64 / NHTSA Campaign 23V-905). While performing this specific recall, the initial facility negligently compromised the cooling system and created a severe leak, directly causing complete and total engine destruction. A subsequent independent diagnostic inspection by a separate authorized dealership confirmed this negligence. The vehicle became instantly disabled while driving, creating a severe road hazard. Total documented property damages are $14,448.31. Furthermore, the dealership and Ford Corporate have explicitly refused to repair the vehicle, despite Ford's dealer bulletins authorizing long-block engine replacements for failures related to this recall. They have also refused to reimburse me for the totaled vehicle or the out-of-pocket expenses incurred. Ford customer service has employed shady tactics, denying liability and stonewalling my attempts to reach a resolution, completely failing to provide the remedy mandated by this safety recall. The vehicle and all documentation are available for inspection upon request.

Summary
Numerous 2024 models have been delivered with improperly greased front wheel bearings. There are many complaints about this reported on line. On delivery my motorcycle exhibited a grinding sound coming from the front wheel. At the 625 mile dealer service the grinding was somewhat louder but not corrected by the scheduled service. Returned the motorcycle to the dealer at 950 miles to have them corrected. Dealer greased the front axle and the grinding noise stopped. The problem is they do not replace the wheel bearings, which have been running without grease for 900 or more miles in these motorcycles. This could cause premature bearing failure which could cause loss of control and/or front wheel lock up.

Truck did not stop when applying brakes. Message displayed brake system failure and the breaks were spongy. The truck was towed to the dealer and required the master cylinder, gasket, and reservoir to be replaced with 23,403 miles. This appears to be an ongoing issue with GMC Sierra trucks and needs further investigation as this potential could be catastrophic. Also, as this appears to be an ongoing issue, owners should not be responsible for the cost associated with any repairs and should require an immediate recall.

I am submitting a safety complaint regarding my 2014 Ram 1500 Tradesman. While driving, the vehicle suddenly experienced a complete loss of power steering without any warning. At the same time, the power steering warning light began flashing and the dashboard lights started flicker. Because the power steering failed unexpectedly, I was unable to steer the truck normally. We nearly crashed into a store because the vehicle would not turn as needed. This created an immediate and serious safety hazard that could have resulted in severe injuries or fatalities. The simultaneous loss of power steering and electrical issues, including the flickering dashboard lights, suggest a possible failure affecting critical vehicle systems. This defect occurred without warning and made the vehicle unsafe to operate. NHTSA Vehicle Safety Complaint I am submitting this complaint to request that the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration investigate a potential safety defect involving the dashboard on my 2021 Ram TRX. The dashboard on my vehicle has developed significant bubbling and delamination in the area of the passenger-side airbag deployment seam. While the manufacturer and dealership have characterized this condition as a cosmetic issue, I believe this assessment fails to address the potential safety implications associated with deformation of the dashboard in a critical airbag deployment zone.The passenger airbag is engineered to deploy through a designated seam in the dashboard. When the dashboard material bubbles, separates, warps, or delaminates in this area, there is a reasonable concern that the airbag's intended deployment path could be altered or obstructed. Any interference with the airbag's deployment could reduce its effectiveness or create an additional hazard to vehicle occupants during a collision.I recognize that I cannot determine whether my specific vehicle's airbag performance has been affected without engineering analysis or crash testing. However, I believe the condition presents a legitimate safety concern that warrants investigation because it involves a safety-critical component designed to protect occupants during a crash.I have also become aware that numerous owners of Ram trucks have reported similar dashboard bubbling and delamination, suggesting this may not be an isolated incident but rather a recurring defect. If this condition is widespread and occurs in the airbag deployment area, it raises concerns that extend beyond appearance and into occupant safety.The purpose of this complaint is not simply to seek a cosmetic repair. My concern is that a defect affecting the dashboard in the passenger airbag deployment zone has the potential to compromise the proper operation of a federally required safety system.
