Summary
I own a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 3500HD Duramax diesel. At approximately 130,000 miles, the high-pressure CP4 fuel pump failed internally, sending metal shavings throughout the fuel system and contaminating major components. The truck suddenly lost power on the freeway and became inoperable without warning. I was barely able to get out of traffic before it had to be towed to a Chevrolet dealership. This created a serious safety hazard, especially considering the risk if it had happened while towing my fifth wheel with my family. A failure like this should not happen at this mileage on a heavy-duty diesel truck. I also cannot afford the extremely high cost of repairing the entire fuel system. From my research, many other owners have experienced the same CP4 fuel pump failure, which often destroys the entire fuel system and leads to very expensive repairs. I believe this is a widespread defect, not normal wear and tear. I ask NHTSA to review these failures and take action to protect vehicle owners from similar dangerous and costly failures. This truck currently sits at the dealership as I cannot afford the repairs and GM will not fix what they know is faulty parts.

DRIVING A 2024 MERCEDES C300 ON THE FLORIDA TURNPIKE IN THE LEFT LANE AT 70 MPH THE ENGINE SUDDENLY SLOWED DOWN. THE DEALERS COMPUTER ACKNOWLEDGED THE STOPPAGE AND AFTER THREE WEEKS AND 500 MILES DRIVEN BY THE DEALER WAS NOT ABLE TO DETERMINE THE CAUSE AND PLANS TO REPLACE THE ENGINE COMPUTER. Summary
The driver door will not open from the outside. My car only has 38k miles on it. All doors will open other than the driver door. This is a safety feature that needs to be recalled and fixed. The dealership even told me this happens often. I have to climb through my passenger door to get in the driver seat. I am a single woman and do not feel safe unless I’m in a busy parking lot bc I could easily get mugged while not being able to safely enter my vehicle fast enough.

Summary
I am the owner of a 2026 Honda Ridgeline, which I have owned for approximately seven months. Since taking delivery, the vehicle has emitted a persistent, very strong chemical odor consistent with volatile organic compound (VOC) off-gassing. This is distinct from a mildew or air-conditioning-related odor; the smell is present throughout the cabin interior as well as in the truck bed well, and does not correlate with AC use. In an effort to resolve the issue, I have kept the vehicle parked outside (not in an enclosed garage), with the bed well left open and the windows down for extended periods to ventilate the interior. Despite these efforts over the seven-month period, the odor has not diminished to an acceptable level and remains strong. Exposure to the odor causes me to develop headaches and throat irritation. These symptoms occur during normal use of the vehicle and are directly attributable to the smell, not to any other known cause. I am requesting that this be formally investigated and documented as a defect, as the odor appears to stem from an interior or structural material issue rather than routine new-vehicle off-gassing, given that it has not resolved after seven months of ventilation efforts.

Summary
We have had the steering wheel replaced twice in this vehicle since purchasing it brand new. This is not the 3rd steering wheel in the truck. From what we can tell this is extremely common with this VW. There is an issue with the wheel ring that causes the circuitry to "freak" out and cause the lane assist system/warning to come on/off repeatedly on the dash. It happens when you turn the wheel and flashes on the screen/auditable alerts multiple times. It is unsafe to drive as the warning happens for no rhyme or reason. Causing malfunction to the lane assist feature and is extremely distracting for the driver. Yes, the dealer has been able to replicate the issue. They have successfully replaced the steering wheel twice no (under warranty) There were no warnings prior to the issue happening. At which point the waring lights and audible alerts starting happening. This is clearly a recall issue for VW. Our concern is we are now on the 3rd steering wheel in a vehicle we bought brand new and it is now out of warranty. After the first wheel replacement there were no issues for approx. 1 year, then it happened again. There is a part that is degrading within the wheel and causing this to happen.

I am submitting this complaint regarding Honda’s unreasonable delay in completing a safety recall on my vehicle. I purchased three brand-new Honda vehicles because I trusted Honda’s reputation for quality and safety. Unfortunately, all three vehicles became subject to safety recalls. I have made every reasonable effort to resolve this issue. I personally visited 7 to 8 Honda dealerships throughout [XXX] and [XXX] and contacted Honda America Customer Relations multiple times. As a result of those communications, Honda arranged a recall part for one of my vehicles, and the repair was completed at Ball Honda. However, my vehicle with VIN [XXX] remains unrepaired because the required recall part has still not been provided. My vehicle has been unusable for approximately one and a half months. This vehicle is essential for my business. Because it is subject to an active safety recall, I cannot responsibly use it or allow my employees to operate it until the recall is repaired. As a result of Honda’s delay, I have suffered significant financial losses, including: Continuing to make monthly loan payments on a vehicle I cannot use. Paying out of pocket to rent replacement vehicles. Losing business income and opportunities. Business disruption caused by the prolonged delay. I believe Honda has failed to remedy this safety recall within a reasonable period of time. I respectfully request that NHTSA review Honda’s handling of this recall and the prolonged delay in providing the necessary repair. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
