Whats New Abstract
A new electric power take-off (ePTO) motor mount shim and an improved spline shaft are available for certain
T680 BEV chassis with ePTO motors.
Condition
Certain electric power take-off (ePTO) motor mounts and spline shafts may vary from intended manufacturing
specifications, potentially affecting spline wear over time.
Chassis Affected
9 (6 US and 3 Canada) vehicle model year 2023-2024 T680 BEV manufactured between 04/05/2022 and
03/17/2023 equipped with ePTO motors
Action
Campaign
Service all chassis affected that enter your dealership, even if the customer has no issue with the chassis.
1. Review the attached chassis list for your dealer code and schedule your customer(s) for service if their
chassis is on the list.
2. In Service Management, select campaign 46-020 to add it to the case. If the unit is released back into
service without performing the repair, make sure to also release the campaign in Service Management.
3. If you are not using Service Management to start repair orders, review SIR for Complete next to the 46-
020 campaign code prior to performing this repair.
4. Follow the procedures in the Attachments section to inspect the ePTO system and replace part(s) as
necessary.
Warranty
Starting on 06/25/2026 and for repairs completed by 07/01/2027, Kenworth will pay for parts at dealer net
plus applicable mark-up and labor:
¢ 0.4 hours to inspect the ePTO system for aftermarket equipment and install the motor mount shim. Use
Recommended Repair Code 46-020A.
° 1.6 hours to inspect the ePTO system for aftermarket equipment, install the motor mount shim, replace
the spline shaft, and inspect the ePTO motor's spline socket. Use Recommended Repair Code 46-020B.
¢ 11.2 hours to inspect the ePTO system for aftermarket equipment, install the motor mount shim,
replace the spline shaft, inspect the ePTO motor's spline socket, and replace the ePTO motor. Use
Recommended Repair Code 46-020C.
¢ File an additional claim for extraordinary circumstances. A Recommended Repair for standard labor

must be filed first.
¢ File the claim within 14 days in accordance with the Warranty Policy.
