If there is damage to the front metal of a Brinkley Model I travel trailer, this document will provide
the needed parts and procedures for the replacement of the front metal, and if necessary, the
windshield. If only needing to replace the windshield, please refer to WI-012-2025 Model I Windshield

WORK INSTRUCTIONS:
1. READ AND UNDERSTAND ALL INSTRUCTIONS PRIOR TO BEGINNING WORK.
2. Inside the unit, remove the bedding and mattress and any other owner possessions that may be in
the bedroom area and safely store them.
3. Remove the LP tank cover and tanks from the A-frame of the unit and set aside (Figure 1A).
4. Measure and note the location of the bottom corners of the windshield glass from the sides and
bottom of the unit (Figure 1B).
5. Measure and note the locations of the two marker lights at the top of the front wall from the sides
and top of the unit (Figure 1C).

6. If you will be replacing the windshield, measure and note the locations of the windshield graphics
from the bottom corners of the windshield glass (Figure 2A, B). If you are reusing the existing
windshield, skip this step.
