DESCRIPTION:
If, an iCup model year 2026 vehicle equipped with Sound System defined by VDN K501 or
K502, experiencing the symptom where the audible turn-indicator sound is out of sync and may
occasionally skip a “beep” (see TJ_37813_1.mp4), follow the guidance provided in the Service.
*Note: This TJ applies only to IHU hardware introduced from MY2026 onward. If this symptom is
observed on a vehicle prior to MY2026, it may be because the vehicle has previously had the IHU
replaced with MY2026-onward hardware.
How to identify if MY2026 hardware is installed in an iCup MY2021–2025:

Check the IHU hardware number in VIDA under Planning & Diagnostics. Click the VIN, select
Vehicle Details, then open the Hardware and Software tab and note the IHU Part No.
Open TJ 37438 - Service - Model Year 2026 or later IHU HW Part No - compare the listed IHU
Part No. with the part number found in VIDA.
If the part number found in VIDA is listed under “Model Year 2026 or later IHU HW Part No,” a
MY2026 or later hardware is installed in the vehicle; therefore, this TJ is applicable.
