SERVICE:

Before replacing any parts, follow the instructions below:

1. Connect the vehicle to VIDA and run the diagnostic sequence for “Alarm trigger cause”.
LPC > Diagnostic Sequences > Alarm Trigger Cause.
2. Do not replace the BBS unless at least one of the alarm trigger events is releated to the BBS.
This applies even if the mentioned above DTCs are present. The only two trigger causes related
to the BBS are:
- Sensor Sounder Battery Backed
- Sensor Inclination

*All other trigger causes are not related to the BBS and should be fault traced accordingly.

3. If the vehicle is updated with VCUv2 SW and the Alarm Trigger Cause is “Sensor Interior
Scanner”, VIDA will show which specific interior sensor that is triggering the alarm. Follow the
table below to identify the correct component:
