Subaru of America, Inc. is pleased to announce an expansion of the remanufactured CVT
transmission program for the part numbers below. Supplies are currently available at all
RDC locations.

Please keep in mind that a $500 core charge will be added to the purchase of each
reman transmission.
Warranty:
In the instance of a remanufactured transmission replacement, the following Subaru
Limited Warranty that provides the greatest coverage applies:
1) The balance of any applicable Subaru New Vehicle Limited Warranties, or
2) The Authorized Genuine Subaru Remanufactured Transmission Limited Warranty: 2
years or 24,000 miles, whichever comes first, from date of installation, or
3) The Authorized Genuine Subaru Replacement Parts Limited Warranty: 1 year from date
of installation with no mileage limitation.
Note: All remanufactured transmission claims submitted for reimbursement must
have an accurate transmission removed and installed serial number. Claims
submitted with inaccurate or missing serial numbers are subject to rejection or debit.
Repair Procedures/Information:
See Service Bulletin for specific repair instructions if applicable.
Core Handling:
Please drain all fluid from the transmission core before shipment. The complete core must
be returned in its original container. Full core credit will not be given if any of the following
components are missing- torque converter, torque converter hold-down bracket, wiring
harness, valve body and extension case. Units that are leaking, damaged, disassembled or
from junkyards will not be eligible for credit.
When the core has been prepared, dealers should visit Subarunet / Parts Operations /
Returns Shipping / Subaru Routing Guides to schedule the shipment. Please complete the
appropriate on-line diagnosis forms when claiming reman transmissions under warranty.
