Dear Valued Dealer,

This notice is sent to your dealership to advise that Ford Motor Company is recalling certain
2025-2026 F-53/F-59 Stripped Chassis vehicles, which were built on a chassis supplied by Ford,
including the VIN shown below.

On your vehicle, the front axle hub assembly may be missing the spindle nut and cotter pin. A
missing spindle nut and cotter pin may cause the wheel to loosen and contact the brake
components or detach from the vehicle. This may result in a loss of braking performance or a
loss of vehicle control, either of which increases the risk of a crash. You may experience warning
signs such as wheel vibration, grinding noises, a change in steering feel, or the illumination of
the anti-lock brake system (ABS) dash light. If you experience any of these warning signs, you
can reduce the risk of a crash by stopping the vehicle safely and having the vehicle towed to your
closest or preferred Ford dealer.

A Service Inspection and Repair is now available for your vehicle. Ford Motor Company has
authorized your Ford dealer to inspect your vehicle’s front axle spindle nuts and cotter pins free
of charge. The time needed for this repair is less than one-half day. However, due to service
scheduling requirements, your dealer may need your vehicle for a longer period of time.

Our records show the following unit is affected by this recall and is part of the current inventory
at your dealership. Please call your Ford dealer without delay and request a service date for
Recall 26827, Provide the dealer with your VIN, which is printed at the bottom of this letter.
Ford has not issued instructions to stop driving the vehicle under this safety recall. You should
contact your Ford dealer for an appointment to have your vehicle remedied as soon as
practicable. If you already had the Ford recall 26827 completed disregard this notice.

recall notice must forward a copy of this notice to the lessee within ten
days.

Complimentary vehicie Pickup & Delivery service may also be available upon

if you have previously paid for a repair that addresses the issue described in
this letter, you still need to have this recall performed to ensure the correct
inspection for the spindle nut and/or cotter pin were used.

You may be eligible for a refund of previously paid repairs. Refunds will only be
provided for service related to the inspection for the spindle nut and/or cotter
pin inspection. To verify eligibility and expedite reimbursement, give your paid
original receipt fo your dealer.

Refund requesis may also be sent directly to Ford Motor Company. To request
your refund from Ford, send the refund request with all required documentation,
including your original repair receipt (no photocopies), to Ford Motor Company
at PO Box 6251, Dearborn, Michigan 48121-6251. Refund requests mailed to
this address may take up to 60 days to process. Your original receipt will be
returned to you.
